Her broad clinical background and dedication to patient-centred care allow her to deliver a consistently high standard of obstetric and gynaecological care.
Dr Tourani has worked across multiple leading hospitals in Australia and overseas, including the Royal Women’s Hospital, Eastern Health, Mercy Health and Western Health. This diverse experience has provided her with a deep understanding of caring for women from a wide range of social, cultural and medical backgrounds, and has shaped her holistic and compassionate approach to care.
As a mother of two young children, Dr Tourani has a strong personal appreciation of the physical and emotional challenges women experience throughout pregnancy. She is passionate about supporting her patients through their pregnancy journey and is committed to making this experience as safe, informed and positive as possible.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Tourani is actively involved in medical education as a trainee supervisor at Eastern Health, contributing to the training of future obstetricians and gynaecologists. She also speaks fluent Farsi (Persian), allowing her to support patients from Persian-speaking backgrounds with greater ease and understanding.
